Heads Up Conference
June 8

This retreat is for young adults diagnosed with a brain tumor (18-35 years old). HUC is designed to meet the unique needs of young adult brain tumor survivors. We offer educational workshops in addition to the numerous recreational opportunities. Workshops may cover topics such as relationships, education, community service, navigating the health care system, nutrition, exercise and career choices. The week’s program is packed with opportunities to learn and to have fun. Swimming, field sports, zip line & climbing wall, hiking, horseback riding and archery are some of the activities offered. Campers also enjoy spending time in the art studio working on projects that range from tie-dye to pottery to jewelry making. Late night, HUC campers are free to soak in the hot tub, work in the art studio, watch movies or play pool in the recreation room. Want more info? Check out the HUC page.
Applications open February 1st.
