Traveling to Camp

Travel Information

With over 80% of our campers coming from out of state, navigating travel to and from camp is not new to us! Here is the information that you need to know.

Getting to Camp

Camp Māk-A-Dream is located in Gold Creek Montana. Our address is 727 Camp Māk-A-Dream Road, Gold Creek Montana 59733.

There are several options for how to get to camp:
-Fly into the Missoula Montana Airport (MSO) and we'll provide the transportation for the approximate 60 mile ride east to Gold Creek
-Meet us at MSO - if you live in the area or its a closer drive to Missoula than Gold Creek, you can meet us at the airport and ride with the group
-Drive directly to camp

Details About Flying

Since flights to Montana can be limited and/or expensive, we suggest campers book their flights soon after being accepted. Our staff greet travelers at the airport and wait with the group until they depart for camp.

Many of our campers fly alone. Most airlines offer an Unaccompanied Minor service for an additional fee. Depending on the age of the traveler, this service may be required or is optional and may have flight restrictions. Please visit the airline’s website for information about their unaccompanied minor policies. (Alaska, American, Delta, and United all fly into Missoula)

Travel Scholarships

We want everyone impacted by cancer to have the opportunity to experience the magic of Camp! In an effort to keep the cost of travel from being prohibitive, we offer travel scholarships to new campers as well as returning campers who need assistance with the cost of a plane ticket. Please completely fill out your camper application before applying for a travel scholarship. (the travel scholarship link can be found on the Apply page)
