Caregiver Retreat- Wellness & Self-Compassion for the Healthcare Practitioner
You are always taking care of others. Now, take care of YOU.
We invite you to attend this 3-day continuing education retreat to learn more
about reducing compassion fatigue and burnout with easy-to-implement self-care strategies and wellness practices.
Your registration for the retreat includes delicious, healthy meals prepared for you by our Camp Chef. This includes Friday dinner, breakfast-lunch-dinner & snacks on Saturday and breakfast-lunch on Sunday.
The lodging is in our four cabins. Each cabin has 14 lower beds and 10 upper beds plus a main living area with a fireplace and kitchenette and two bathrooms. Many upgrades have been recently done and we know you’ll find them quite comfortable. While we have bunk buds, we will only fill lower beds (first come first serve) unless capacity is exceeded at which time we will contact potential attendees to see if they are willing to sleep in a top bunk bed. Sleeping porches in our cabins will be separated by female/male.
You may also opt to commute to/from Camp Mak-A-Dream to attend this retreat. There is a commuter rate available on both the online registration and the printed registration form (below).
Once you have registered, you will receive two confirmation emails. The first will be to confirm payment. The second will be from Kim McKearnan, our Executive Director (firstname.lastname@example.org). In this email, we will provide additional information regarding the retreat including the schedule of events, directions to Camp Mak-A-Dream and the process for requesting special dietary or lodging accommodations.
