Young Adult Conference/YAC

This program was designed specifically for young adults with cancer (ages 18-25) who so often have limited support options. Imagine being faced not only with making important life decisions about issues like relationships, continuing education, a career, getting health insurance and planning a family, but also having those issues compounded and complicated by being diagnosed with cancer. YAC was created to address all of these issues through featuring guest speakers, holding educational workshops, group discussions and providing tools for participants to take home with them to help them live with their cancer more fully. It's also a place where young adults can talk about their challenges, their fears and their dreams for the future with their peers.

Young Adult Conferences are offered free of cost.
